The Operational Research Institute (ORI) with the support of the USAID Public Administration Program implements the Public Policy Leadership Academy (PPLA) project. The goal of the program is to support young professionals and young public policy researchers to develop professional skills and gain practical experience in conducting evidence-based policy analysis.
As part of the program, a Public Policy Analysis Conference will be held in Tbilisi on August 21. The conference will provide a platform for the participants of the Public Policy Leadership Academy and other researchers to present their policy analysis papers, deepen professional contacts, and participate in discussions on the challenges facing the field of public policy analysis in Georgia.
The Public Policy Analysis Conference serves multiple key purposes, including:
Policy research organizations in Georgia should present their latest research on contemporary policy issues and share the innovative approaches and solutions they employ.
Facilitate the deepening of professional links between young professionals and researchers and increase the involvement of various stakeholders in the sector, including civil society, academia and donor organizations.
Promote evidence-based decision-making in Georgia based on in-depth research and data analysis.
